What’s On presenter Sammy Brough reports on the ‘Moody Cow’ fashion show from Cow Vintage last week…
On Tuesday night a square of bright light spilled from the new Cow Vintage Store into bus-filled Corporation Street. It was enough to show that something very exciting was happening inside.
Drawn in like moths, guests were greeted with a delicious table of wine, juice and tasty nibbles, which was almost as pleasant as the smiling faces behind it - Birmingham City University MA Events Management and Fashion students, who organised the whole event.
Chilled out chart hits added to the creative vibe as artistic shoppers browsed the store’s quirky goods. Suddenly the volume increased and all attention turned to the catwalk; girls, boys, friends and couples walked and struck their poses, looking very detailed and interesting as they modelled stunning spring styles. Their thrill at showcasing the team’s hard work infected the crowd.
Each daring outfit was carefully crafted from the Cow’s unique stock by the fashion student stylists, who, after the show, were on hand to assist the rush of inspired shoppers!
