Whilst this year’s Birmingham Music Month may be coming to an end, the music scene in and around the city doesn’t. At the beginning of the month, Scratch’s very own Dan Richards managed to grab Birmingham-based Brian Travers - from UB40 - for a chat about the month, the Birmingham music scene and what Brum music means to the band.

What’s the most embarrasing thing to have happened to you live on air? Not at Scratch, but I did a whole 3 hour show, interviews and all, but not on air!! What’s your favourite place to go in Birmingham? Electric Cinema on Station Street
A la commercial radio - 80s, 90s or now? 90s and today, different reasons but they’re both good times.
